Terms and Conditions

These terms govern every free trial, lesson, and course booked with Noor e Quran Academy. Please read them before booking your first class.

Last updated: 22 August 2026

Introduction and Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Noor e Quran Academy website and your enrolment in any of our online Quran courses. By booking a free trial or lesson with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Where a student is under 18, a parent or guardian must accept these terms on the student's behalf and remains responsible for the account.

Our Services

Noor e Quran Academy provides live, one-to-one online Quran tuition to students across the UK, taught in English, Urdu, or Arabic by qualified, DBS-checked teachers. We currently offer 10 courses:

  • Noorani Qaida
  • Learn Quran with Tajweed
  • Qira'at
  • Quran Memorisation (Hifz)
  • Quran Translation
  • Tafseer
  • Salah (Prayer)
  • Islamic Studies
  • Quranic Arabic
  • Ijazah

All lessons are delivered live, one-to-one, never as pre-recorded content or in a shared group class.

Eligibility and Accounts for Under-18s

Anyone may register for a free trial or course, provided that where the student is a child, the account is registered and managed by a parent or guardian. Female students are always taught by a qualified female teacher, never by a non-mahram male teacher.

You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and up to date, and for any activity that takes place under your account.

Free Trial and Booking Lessons

Every new student is entitled to one free trial lesson, with no card required and no obligation to continue. If you choose to continue after your trial, you will be asked to select a plan and provide payment details before your next lesson is booked.

Lessons are booked around your preferred days and times, subject to teacher availability, and can be rescheduled by contacting us in advance.

Fees and Payment

Course fees depend on how many lessons you book per week. Fees are payable in advance of the billing period they cover.

Cancellations and Refunds

We do not lock any family into a fixed-term contract on our monthly plans, and you can cancel at any time. Full detail on how cancellations and refunds work, including our 6-month and yearly plans, is set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Code of Conduct for Students and Teachers

We expect every student, parent, and teacher to treat one another with respect, patience, and courtesy. This means:

  • Joining lessons on time and ready to learn.
  • Communicating only through official Academy channels, never a teacher's or student's personal contact details.
  • No inappropriate, disrespectful, or discriminatory language or behaviour during lessons.
  • Respecting the one-to-one, private nature of every lesson.

Breaching this code of conduct may result in a warning, a change of teacher, or suspension of an account, at the Academy's discretion, particularly where a safeguarding concern is involved. See our Safeguarding Policy for more detail.

Technology and Platform Requirements

Lessons take place live over video call using Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet. You will need a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone to take part. Noor e Quran Academy is not responsible for interruptions caused by your own internet connection, device, or the third-party video platform itself.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, lesson plans, and content provided by Noor e Quran Academy remain our intellectual property, or that of our licensors. You may use these materials for your own personal learning, but may not copy, resell, or redistribute them without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

We take reasonable care in selecting and training our teachers and in delivering our courses. However, to the extent permitted by law, Noor e Quran Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for service interruptions caused by third-party platforms such as Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet, or by your own internet connection or equipment.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account where these terms are breached, particularly in relation to the code of conduct or safeguarding concerns. You may end your own enrolment at any time in line with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Governing Law and Changes to These Terms

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If you have any questions about these terms, contact Noor e Quran Academy at info@noorequranacademy.co.uk.
