Three Ways to Take This Course
Not everyone wants the same depth. Your teacher agrees which of these fits before you start, and you can always go deeper later.
Translation Only
Word by word and verse by verse meaning, ideal if your goal is simply to understand what you're reading as you recite.
Translation With Brief Interpretation
Meaning plus short context for verses that need it, without going as deep as a full Tafseer study.
Translation With Deeper Interpretation
The fullest option, connecting meaning to historical context, themes, and how a passage applies today.
Whichever option you choose, everything is taught in English, Urdu, or Arabic, whichever language you actually think and understand best.
Who This Course Is For
Anyone who can already read the Quran and wants to understand it, from teenagers to adults, including reverts who want meaning explained from the start.

Learn moreFrequently Asked Questions
Do I need to read Arabic before starting this course?
It helps but isn't essential. Many students take translation alongside Noorani Qaida or Tajweed, learning to read and understand meaning at the same time.
What languages is the translation available in?
English, Urdu, or Arabic. You choose whichever you understand best, and your teacher explains meaning in that language throughout.
Is this the same as a Tafseer course?
No. Translation gives you the direct meaning of the words. Tafseer goes further, into historical context and deeper scholarly explanation. Many students take translation first, then move into Tafseer.
How much of the Quran do we cover, and how quickly?
That depends entirely on your pace and goals. Some students work through specific surahs in depth, others move steadily through the whole Quran over a longer period.
Is this course suitable for children?
Yes, particularly older children who already read confidently. Your teacher adjusts vocabulary and explanation style to suit the student's age.
