Learn Quran Online in Portsmouth
Portsmouth's Muslim community is smaller than nearby Southampton's, and families here often end up travelling for anything beyond the basics. Noor e Quran Academy removes that journey entirely, one to one lessons with a DBS-checked teacher, from £30 a month, from your own home in Portsmouth.

Why Portsmouth Families Choose Online Lessons

No Travelling to a Neighbouring City
Skip the journey to Southampton or further. Online lessons happen from your own home in Portsmouth.

Start With a Free TrialFrequently Asked Questions
Is £30 a month too good to be true for one to one lessons?
It's a genuine starting price, not an introductory offer that jumps later. Two one to one lessons a week start at £30 a month, with no hidden fees, because there's no dealer or agency taking a cut between you and the teacher.
Can a child actually learn correct Tajweed through a screen, or is in person better?
Yes. A live video lesson lets your teacher hear every mistake in real time, correct it immediately, and share their screen to point at the exact letter, which is often clearer than a classroom where the teacher's attention is split between many children.
What if my child gets distracted or won't sit still during the lesson?
That's normal, especially early on. Because lessons are one to one, your teacher can shorten sessions, add short breaks, or adjust pace on the spot, something a group class simply can't do.
Are the free trial classes a real lesson, or just a sales pitch?
A genuine, full lesson with a real teacher, not a scripted demo, whether you're booking from Portsmouth or anywhere else in the UK. There's no obligation to continue afterwards and no card details needed to book it.
What happens if we miss a lesson because life gets busy?
Just message your teacher to reschedule. Lessons are built around your week, not a fixed timetable you have to fit yourself into.
