Learn Quran Online in Hull
Hull's Muslim community has been served by Hull Jame Masjid since 1987, a genuine community cornerstone, but still largely the one central option for families. Noor e Quran Academy widens that considerably, one to one lessons with a DBS-checked teacher, from £30 a month.

Why Hull Families Choose Online Lessons
One long-established mosque shouldn't mean one choice for your family.
More Than One Local Choice
Online widens your options to a teacher matched specifically to your child, not just the one central mosque.

Full Attention, One to One
No shared classroom, no waiting your turn. Every minute of the lesson belongs to your child.

What platform do lessons actually happen on, and is it safe?
Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet, whichever suits your teacher, all run through official Academy scheduling rather than a personal number, so there's always a proper record of contact.
Is it actually permissible to learn Quran through a video call, or does it need to be in person?
Yes. Mainstream scholarly opinion accepts live, one to one video lessons as valid, since what matters is real time correction from a qualified teacher, not the physical room you're sitting in. What isn't valid is a pre-recorded video with no live feedback, which is exactly why every lesson here is live.
How do I know a teacher's qualifications are real and not just claimed?
Every teacher we work with in Hull and across the UK is DBS-checked before they teach a single student, and many hold a verified Ijazah, a certified chain of transmission, not just a claim on a website. You're welcome to ask about a specific teacher's background before committing to anything.
Should I sit in on my child's lesson, or leave the teacher alone with them?
You're welcome to sit in on any lesson, any time, no need to ask permission. Lessons also run through official Academy scheduling and video links rather than a teacher's personal number, so there's always a proper record of contact.
Is £30 a month too good to be true for one to one lessons?
It's a genuine starting price, not an introductory offer that jumps later. Two one to one lessons a week start at £30 a month, with no hidden fees, because there's no dealer or agency taking a cut between you and the teacher.
